Requirements:
Ubuntu 11.04 and newer. (or any distro from April 2011 and later)
Needed Theme engines:
(All engines but pixmap should be already installed on Ubuntu and Mint)
1.) "Murrine" gtk2 theme engine version 0.98+
2.) "Unico" Theme Engine.
3.) NEEDED FOR XFCE & LXDE Version
"Pixmap Theme Engine"
Package name: "gtk2-engines-pixbuf"
Can be found in the REPOS Install VIA:
sudo apt-get install gtk2-engines-pixbuf
No longer installed by default in 11.10 or 12.04 to "Save Space"
REMEMBER TO INSTALL THIS FOR Xfce and LXDE support on 11.10 or 12.04!
NOTE:There is now two versions of this theme. Please choose the right one for your setup.
1.) 12.04 Version Of Theme:
Ubuntu 12.04 and Newer ONLY
For Gnome or GTK 3.4+ Only
(Distros from April 2012 and Newer)
2.) 11.10.2 Version Of Theme:
Ubuntu 11.04 - 11.10
For Gnome or GTK 2, 3.0,3.1, 3.2
(Distros from October 2011 and older)
If you install from the PPA or Download a Debian Package this will all be taken care of for you.

Support Status: 12.04 Theme Is Supported.
11.10.3 Version support is still active for security issues. No back-ports of new features however.

ReplyDeleteSince you haven't added support for 12.10 yet i tried rewriting it myself and almost everything is working already, the only thing i'm missing is the volume slider which is still displayed orange. Do you have an idea in where i can change the slider's color?
